Reckon what your app will cost.
An astrolabe does not guess: it measures. Work through the steps and the price assembles as you go — every figure shown, nothing hidden until the end.
Where projects usually land
So you are not reckoning in the dark: a straightforward shop or booking app comes out between 3,000 and 4,500. Something with two apps and a portal behind it — a marketplace, a loyalty scheme — runs 7,000 to 11,000. An agency in Muscat would ask half again as much for either, and one in Dubai three times.
Nothing here is asked of you, and no figure is hidden until the end.
What 1,500 OMR already buys
- One app, built once and running on Android
- Up to six screens, and one core thing the app is for
- Sign-in by email, and a profile
- A cloud database and the back end behind it
- Notifications and email for the essentials — an order placed, a booking confirmed
- Analytics, so you can see what people actually do
- Publishing to Google Play under your own account
- The code, the accounts and the keys handed to you
- Thirty days of fixes after launch
Your reckoning
Here is what you have chosen, and what it should honestly cost. Send it to me and I will tell you plainly whether it can be built for this, what I would change, and when it could be done.
This is an estimate, not a quote. The figures are set against what this work actually costs in Oman and the Gulf — comfortably under an agency, and not so far under that the quality would have to suffer for it. No one can price a project properly without understanding it first, so a short conversation usually moves the number one way or the other. I will tell you which way, and why.
